General Job DescriptionGale Force Software is seeking talented software and firmware engineers with excellent communication skills and an entrepreneurial spirit to join our team. We are looking for individuals with a solid understanding of current software technology and eagerness to learn and quickly become productive in new technologies.
General Responsibilities- Developing software based on requirements, architecture, and design
- Having responsibility for requirements gathering, documentation, coding, testing, debugging, and maintenance
- Participating in design, code, architecture, and test plan reviews with both an internal team as well as with the client
- Creating and executing unit and integration tests
- Interacting with the client
- Five+ years of embedded systems experience
- Developing software for embedded systems and having responsibility for requirements gathering, documentation, coding, testing, debugging and maintenance
- Working closely with hardware and lab equipment, such as oscilloscopes, meters, and other test equipment
- Real-time operating system (RTOS) experience is a plus
A successful candidate should have at least a bachelor's degree in computer science and/or electrical engineering or a related field and be highly motivated, independent, and creative with good communication skills and the drive to excel. It is desirable that the candidate have five years of software development experience. The ability to become productive rapidly while learning new technologies is also highly desirable.
